RS-type heads are ideal for light, powdery, delicate, and less detailed techniques where we want to achieve diffused effects. The 0.25 mm diameter cartridges leave a sufficiently large pixel.
Three 0.25 mm diameter needles, a Round Shader type, and a Point Tapered sharpening level (2.5 mm sharpening length) and a needle with a textured surface allow for more pigment delivery. These cartridges are designed for creating contours, lines, and fills. The PT needle has a double sharpening, meaning that in addition to the standard sharpening, the tip of the needle itself is sharpened at a different, more obtuse angle. This sharpening type means the PT needle is not as sharp as the LT needle, allowing for more precise insertion into the skin. PT – Conical point (2.5 mm double sharpened).
