Recommendations for the care of the piercing !

Piercing is a very popular body jewelry service for many years. Many women and men emphasize their style and individuality in this way. This service is especially popular among the younger generation. Young people prefer original and unusual body piercings: eyebrows, cheeks, tongue, nose, tunnels and so on. But in order to make the piercing look always great and effective, it is very important in the first weeks after the piercing, pay special attention to the care of the pierced area of the body. Care for piercing is a very important procedure, on which depends not only the quality of the service, but also your health. Fulfilling all the necessary recommendations of the master, the piercing will heal quite quickly, without various inflammatory processes and complications.

Any kind of piercing you have chosen (ear, nose, lip, eyebrow, tongue, navel, breast, etc.) requires special care. By following simple recommendations, you can speed up the healing process of the piercing:

 1. Hygiene means keeping your piercing and the environment you are in clean. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water if you need to touch the piercing site!

 2. Avoid contact of the piercing site with the secretions of another person (kissing, etc.), even your regular partner.

 3. When piercing the face and ears during the healing period, wear long hair gathered. This is especially true for cartilage (helix) piercings.

 4. Be gentle with the piercing while performing maintenance procedures. Try to wash the piercing site more often.

We recommend to do it 3-4 times a day using “miramistin” or “chlorhexidine” solution for 3 weeks, then 1-2 times a day for up to 2 months. The frequency of wound treatment depends on the conditions in which you are, as well as on the type of piercing:

- Ear and nose piercings - 3-4 times a day for a week with a “miramistin” solution.

- Oral mucosa piercings: rinse 3-5 times within 7-10 days, including after meals with “Miramistin” solution, alcohol-free and mint rinses. It is also important in the first few days to refrain from irritating and hard food.

Care for piercings should be performed daily. Remember that the quality of healing of the pierced area of the body depends on your treatment. It is important in the healing process to avoid inflammatory processes, which can later turn into serious consequences. If the place of the piercing began to inflame, do not engage in self-treatment. First of all, it is necessary to contact the piercer, and if necessary - to a doctor.

Also when healing piercings, it is necessary to include the intake of vitamins or food vitaminized supplements. By saturating the body with useful substances, you also take care of fast healing of skin cells.

Don't forget that your piercing is a vulnerable open wound, do your best to maintain hygiene at home, at work and while on vacation!
